National Truck Driver Appreciation Week just started this past Sunday and will continue until Saturday, September 16th. A few companies, including Blue Ink Tech, have announced how they’ll celebrate the week with special deals, giveaways, and recognition. Read to the end to learn more about our special giveaway for this week.
Sheetz
The convenience store chain announced they will be reducing the cost of diesel to $4.49 at all 654 stores that offer diesel pumps. The reduced prices started on Labor Day and will extend to September 30th, 2022. Compared to AAA’s reported national average of $5.059, truck drivers can save themselves about $0.57 a gallon.
They're also offering truck drivers a free meal; they can choose between any of the half Made-to-Order subs, a bag of fryz, and any size self-serve fountain drink or coffee. The offer runs from September 11-30. To claim it, truck drivers must enter “TRUCKYEAH” through the Sheetz Mobile App.
Love’s Travel Stops
The family-owned truck stop and convenience store chain announced they are celebrating truck drivers for the entire month of September. Each time a driver swipes their My Love Rewards card during the month, they’ll have a chance to instantly win 1,000 or 2,000 reward points.
There’s also a weekly giveaway for My Love Rewards. At the end of the month, there’s a grand prize of one million My Love Rewards points. That’s equivalent to $10,000 retail value.
Additional deals include:
- Fresh food and drink specials from September 12-16.
- A free Love’s sandwich or salad with any oil change at Speedco or Love’s Truck Care from September 12-16.
- Discounts on Amarillo Supply Co. products throughout the months of September and October.
- A free Amarillo Supply Co. hat with a purchase of $9.99 3-pack gloves or any of the 15% off Amarillo Supply Co. safety products.
Pilot Flying J
Pilot Flying J is also celebrating into the month of October. They’re showing their appreciation with various perks and discounts.
In their myReward Plus app, each week they are offering up to three free drink choices; including fountain drinks, self-serve coffee, sodas, energy drinks, and waters. Discounts for a variety of deli food products will be offered during September; and from September 11-17, they can get a 50% discount on deli foods when using the app.
Aside from the deals on their food items, drivers can earn up to 500 bonus points in September by completing in-app challenges. In October, there are chances to earn more points when fueling when drivers activate PushForPoints in their myRewards Plus app (up to 5 points a gallon).
TA-Petro
TravelCenters of America is honoring National Truck Driver Appreciation Week this year by celebrating with in-app deals, social media giveaways, and events for professional truck drivers.
There are also site events and offers for their TA, Petro, and TA Express locations from September 11-17. The perks vary from sites; offering free mid-trip inspections, window washing, health and wellness checks, and/or cookouts. You can check out when and where they’re having these special events. Make a stop during your route at one of their various locations.
Truckstop.com/Roady’s
The freight-matching platform is hosting three different booths called Rockstars of the Road in honor of truck drivers in the industry. Drivers who stop by these locations can receive a free lunch, fuel gift cards, die-cast trucks, and Truckstop merch (while supplies last).
